Terms of sale and website use for chonkie.co.uk.

1. Who we are.

Chonkie is a business partnership between Will Walker and Sophie Howe, trading as Chonkie. Our business correspondence address is 1 West Walks, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1RE. You can contact us at hello@chonkie.co.uk.

2. These terms.

These terms apply when you use this website or buy goods from Chonkie. Our Privacy Policy, Delivery information, Returns & refunds policy and Allergens & ingredients information form part of the information provided with your order.

3. Products.

Chonkies are handmade food products. We take care to describe and photograph them accurately, but natural variation in size, shape, colour, spread, filling placement and finish is normal. Screens can also display colours differently.

Our launch cookies are described as 200g+. Product information, flavours and availability can change. If we make a material change affecting an order you have already placed, we'll contact you where reasonably possible.

4. Ingredients and allergens.

You must review the allergen information available before ordering, particularly when purchasing for somebody else. Supplier recipes can change, so the ingredient and allergen information supplied with the delivered food should also be checked before eating.

We do not make an allergen-free claim for any Chonkie product. See Allergens & ingredients for the current launch information.

5. Prices and payment.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. The product price and any delivery charge are shown before you continue to payment. We may change prices for future orders at any time.

Online card payments are processed through Square-hosted checkout. Chonkie does not receive your full payment-card number. Your card provider or Square may apply their own security checks.

6. Placing and accepting an order.

Please check your basket, flavours, contact details and delivery address before continuing to payment. You can correct those details before payment is completed.

An order is accepted when payment has been successfully completed and we issue an order confirmation. If we cannot accept or fulfil an order, we may cancel it and refund any amount already paid.

7. Availability, quantity limits and errors.

Products are subject to availability. We may reasonably limit quantities, refuse suspicious or fraudulent orders, or decline an order we cannot fulfil.

We may correct obvious errors in descriptions, prices, promotions, delivery charges, availability or other website information. If an error materially affects an order already placed, we may contact you to agree a correction or cancel the affected order and provide a refund.

8. Delivery.

Our current delivery area, charges and expected timings are set out on the Delivery page. Unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date, dispatch and transit dates are estimates.

The next order drop is 20 October 2026. This is the drop date, not a promise that every order will arrive on that date.

Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address and monitor any tracking or delivery instructions provided by the carrier. Nothing in these terms changes the allocation of delivery risk required by consumer law.

9. Cancellations, problems and refunds.

Freshly baked cookies are perishable goods and the normal change-of-mind cancellation right will not apply where the legal perishable-goods exception applies. This does not affect remedies for goods that are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to meet legal requirements.

See Returns & refunds for how to contact us about an order.

10. Gift messages and customer-provided content.

If you provide a gift message, recipient name or other text for an order, you are responsible for making sure it is lawful, accurate and appropriate. We may refuse to print or transmit content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, infringing or otherwise unsuitable.

11. Promotions.

Promotions, discount codes and offers may have additional conditions. Unless we say otherwise, they cannot be exchanged for cash and may be withdrawn or corrected where an obvious error has occurred. Any mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

12. Website use and intellectual property.

The Chonkie name, branding, artwork, photographs, copy, website design and other original site content belong to Chonkie or are used with permission. You may use the site for personal shopping and ordinary business enquiries, but you must not copy, reproduce, scrape, resell, republish or commercially exploit protected site content without permission.

You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with security or operation, impersonate another person, submit false information, or use the service for an unlawful purpose.

13. Third-party services and links.

Parts of the service rely on third parties, including payment, hosting, communications, address and delivery providers. Third-party websites and services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for unrelated third-party content merely because we link to it.

14. Our responsibility to you.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

15. Privacy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we use, why we use it and the choices available to you.

16. Changes to these terms.

We may update these terms for future use of the website or future orders. The version in force when your order is accepted will apply to that order unless a change is required by law.

17. Governing law.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
